Megan put us at ease during the lead-up and absolutely shinned during the big day. We cannot recommend her enough! We worked with Megan for our first-born. In the lead-up to the birth, Megan patiently answered all of our questions and clearly explained her role and the care and support we could expect from her. She knowledgably answered our various questions, from what it felt like to enter into labor to the check-in process at the hospital. Most important to us, Megan was flexible and responsive to our needs, style, and approach. She did not enforce upon us her views or singular approach. She asked us questions and she accommodated us. During the birth day Megan truly shone. She displayed selflessness on every level. She gave her mind, body, and soul to us. She was with my wife through nearly EVERY contraction lasting nearly () hours. She applied counter pressure, encouraged deep breaths, and keept Mom in the moment. Second to Mom, the physical stamina she displayed was remarkable. Her support heartened us through a some times scary process. We also had a challenging post-brith experience and Megan stayed overtime to help us navigate through it. Megan went beyond the call of duty. In spite of a rather challenging birth, we look upon the experience fondly. And that has so much due to Megan’s work. We cannot recommend her enough!

Megan educated me and encouraged me to advocate for myself during labor.  She was always available to answer my questions and answered the phone at 1 in the morning when I was in labor and needed support.  Due to hospital COVID policies, she was not present for the birth but she made extra accommodations to make sure my husband and I were prepared.  I do not believe this experience would have gone as smoothly and peacefully as it did if I did not have Megan.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I needed a strong, supportive and caring woman who would just be there for me, who wouldn’t let me panic if something went not the way I expected. And she was everything I was looking for and beyond. She was sensitive to my husband and i’s needs and very accommodating. She was always available and always punctual. At the labor I really needed that counter pressure to my back and her encouragement that I heard on the background. I didn’t know before how every word I heard would make a difference and give me strength. She also provided us with the ideas of what to do with placenta - something I hadn’t thought about. At the end we had a great labor experience and we were absolutely happy about our decision to hire Megan as our doula. I would repeat it again.
